A virtual assistant (VA) is a self-employed contractor who can work on your office tasks off-site. This type of outsourcing can help your business run more efficiently, and save you time and money. There are no payroll/benefit expenses, lengthy training time, and no need to supply office space or equipment. A Virtual Assistant works for you only when needed. This could be a few hours a week, couple of hours per month, or for a one-time project. If you need office support services on a more frequent basis, a retainer package can easily address this requirement. As the client, you decide how often your VA works with you. Are you having trouble returning phone calls to clients? Meeting your deadlines? If you want to spend more time with your family or simply want to reduce your overhead then the services I offer can help you achieve your goals. Temporary workers are, well, temporary. A VA cultivates long-term relationships and cares about the client's business. Most VA's have years of experience in the work force. Temps are often students or displaced workers.s Their loyalty to your company is dependent on their school schedule or how well their next job interview goes. Temp workers must be trained for each assignment. If the temp worker leaves, so does your training investment. A dedicated VA already has the training and equipment necessary for most administrative tasks, and they are not using you as a temporary stop until "something better" comes along. If you have a project you'd like to discuss with us, or have more questions, please email us or phone us at 585.734.6730. Costs are broken down by each task or project, including cost of supplies. We do, however, offer special pricing for those retaining our services on a regular basis. We'll be happy to supply a quote upon request. Remember: you only pay for the tasks you need. We can correspond via email, instant messenger, fax, phone, or postal mail. You can provide product information, stationary, story boards, images, etc. for the project. If you need assistance developing these items, we're happy to help. Work is generally sent and received via email or fax. Completed projects can also be uploaded/downloaded via FTP to the VA's or client's website, and there is remote software such as Timbuktu that provide remote access to your computer. |
